Did you know the theater from "The Blob" hosts an annual film festival? | ZombieFuel.net

  by Bone Jawnson If you're even a fringe horror movie fan, you've probably heard of the 1958 classic film starring Steve McQueen called "The Blob." A portion of the film, where moviegoers run out of a theater (pictured above), was filmed at The Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. Each year, the theater hosts Blobfest  to celebrate the titular film and other classics while recreating the town's featured scene from the movies. Per the Blobfest's Facebook page, the lineup for 2024 includes "The Blob" (1958), "The Blob" (1988), "Beware! The Blob", "The Creature from the Black Lagoon" (3D), and "Fluido Mortale" (The Blob ‘58 en EspaƱol) . Follow the Facebook page and website for showtimes! "Blobfest" 2024, which also marks its 25th year, will be held from July 12th through the 14th. 

Film Worlds Collide: 'The Farmhouse Murders' Takes on a Whole New Indie Dimension with Its All-Star Franchise Cast

Starring familiar faces such as Larry Hankin (Escape from Alcatraz and Seinfeld) and Marlon Taylor (IT), Kevin's debut feature film will surely be a must-see. Kevin is no stranger to indie film and maintains a steady  performer portfolio . He and his team have steadily raised  funds  for "The Farmhouse Murders," projected to be released in 2025.  As of March 2024, the stars include industry veteran,  Eric Roberts  (Runaway Train, The Dark Knight, The Expendables), to the cast as the "seemingly charming yet suspicious role of Mayor Fredrick Kane."
